What it takes to be listed
Three things have to be true before your profile appears in the directory, and they have to be true at the same time.
Your profile has been approved. Your subscription is running. And your documents are in date.
If any one of them lapses, your listing comes down. When you sort it out it goes back up by itself. There is no re-approval to wait for.
The two documents
A qualification from an accredited body, and your practitioner insurance. You upload both after you subscribe, and we check them before you appear.
We accept qualifications from a set list of accrediting bodies. If yours is not on it, get in touch before you pay for anything.
Keeping them current
Insurance runs out. We will remind you before it does, more than once, and then we stop rather than emailing you about it every day.
If a document does expire, your listing comes down until you upload a new one.
If a payment fails
Your listing stays up while your card is being retried. You do not disappear from the directory because a bank declined a payment.
What members see before they get in touch
Your name, your photograph, what you work on, where you are, and your rates.
Your phone number and your website stay private until somebody has actually contacted you.
