Ralph Varcoe and Marston York have known each other since school, since at least 1986, over 40 years ago. Both share a passion for coaching and the voice, and for helping people make change part of everyday life.

Ralph Varcoe

Ralph is a certified NLP trainer who has spent nearly 30 years in business and rather longer being curious about how people change. Most recently, Ralph was Chief Growth Officer at Connexin, where the group grew revenue eight-fold, from £3 million to £25 million, in under three years.

Ralph trained as a singer and performed classical and jazz around the world. PiViva brings that understanding of connection together with practical coaching and the structure people need to keep going after the first burst of enthusiasm.

Marston York

Marston has worked with coaching in many forms for more than 30 years. After graduating from drama school, Marston worked as an actor, singer, director, producer and writer, then spent years at Sky writing voice scripts and directing and producing voice artists.

That work grew into voice coaching, more than 130 audiobooks, character voices for film and games, and workshops that help people develop vocal confidence. Marston is also a Reiki Master and Teacher and holds a Diploma in Life Coaching, with particular interests in neurodivergence, NLP, confidence and wellbeing.

Audio and learning are a key pillar of PiViva. Marston leads the development of recordings and courses that are useful in real life, whether someone wants to build confidence, learn a new approach or have something supportive to listen to that day.

It is content designed to keep people engaged and using PiViva day after day, alongside the tools, Viv and human coaching.
