Exercises you actually work through
A tool here is a structured exercise with a beginning and an end. You work through it, it keeps what you wrote, and you can come back to it.
Most of them are frameworks that have been used in coaching for years. The Wheel of Life. GROW. Ikigai. The Johari Window. WOOP. PERMA. If you have trained as a coach you will recognise them. If you have not, you do not need to.
Six areas
- Goals and vision
What you actually want, in enough detail to act on. Yearly vision, your ideal life, and the goals underneath them.
- Self-audit and life review
An honest look at where you are now. The Wheel of Life, a personal SWOT, the Johari Window, and 360 feedback from people who know you.
- Mindset and beliefs
The thinking that gets in the way. Limiting beliefs, reframing, values, and the difference between should and must.
- Habits and behaviour
The part that decides whether anything actually changes. Building habits, tracking them, and implementation intentions for when motivation is not there.
- Action and accountability
Getting things done without joining a productivity cult. Priority matrices, a weekly planner, and something for procrastination.
- Resilience and wellbeing
Staying steady. Fear audits, gratitude, self-compassion, and leaving your comfort zone deliberately rather than by accident.
They are not separate exercises
A goal you set in one tool is the same goal in every other one. Actions you commit to land in one place rather than in six.
So the Wheel of Life you filled in during January is still there when you come back in June, and so is what you wrote at the time.
This is the bit that usually goes missing. Most of us have the insight and then lose track of it a fortnight later.
Where to start
You do not have to choose. Answer a few questions when you join and PiViva suggests where to begin, based on what you said rather than on what is popular.
If you would rather browse, the Wheel of Life is the usual starting point. It is short, and it tends to tell you where to look next.
What comes with which plan
The free plan includes a starter set. The paid plans open the rest. The plans page shows exactly which tools come with each one, with the link below.
